(20 days to baby, 50 days to full size) This leafy green originated in East Africa, Ethiopia. It is also known as Ethiopian mustard, Abyssinian mustard, African kale, and Highland kale. The leaves are mild flavor compared to kale and mustard. Prefers mild climate yet are cold hardy and drought resistant.
Growing Tips
Direct seed, broadcast seed into finely tilled soil once danger of frost has passed. Plant every 2 weeks for continuous harvest. Thin plants 2-3" apart tightly in a grid to help prevent weeds.
