Arugula is such a standard now that it needs no introduction, but 20 years ago ‘rocket’ was a complete unknown. Every part of the plant can find its place in the mix of seasonal salad, including the leafy immature buds, and flowering buds that follow. This variety originated from Wild Garden Seed, selected for bacterial spot resistance and to thrive in our Northern conditions. Grown and selected in certified organic conditions by Minnesota grower Greg Reynolds of Riverbend Farm.

Growing Tips

• Plant 1/4 inch deep and about 1 inch apart in rows 10 inches apart, or closer if creating a canopy for weed cover.

• Prefers rich, well drained soil. Sow as soon as the soil can be worked in spring.
