Russian Red is a rocombole variety has large bulbous cloves, marbled and striped purple and long shelf-life. 4 - 6 cloves per head, typically about 6 cloves. Plant in Northern Minnesota around Oct 20th or approximately 6 weeks before the ground begins to freeze.
