Sweet Agam (Solanum lycopersicum) (70 days) Agam, Israeli for ‘Lake’, has a sweet essence and bursts in your mouth with a ‘lake’ of flavor! Israel has a history of making significant improvements on cherry tomatoes. While this tomato was developed in Minnesota, the ‘land of lakes’, it is an off-shoot project from one of the dehybridization lines of the classic orange ‘Sungold F1’. It has bright red fruit. Fruits grow from small .75” up to 1". The plants bear heavily and fruits are born in nice clusters. A good combination with our Black Cherry (black), Mandorin Dream (orange) and White Cherry (yellow) in a mixed container.
Growing Tips
Start indoors about 1/4” deep 5-6 weeks before the last frost. Transplant well after danger of frost and ideally when night temps don’t go lower than 50F. Sow plants 24-30” apart. Plant in full sun and will need to stake or trellis plants. Fertilize with fish emulsion, compost, manure or a soluble, complete fertilizer.
Certified Organic. 40 Seeds per packet.
